At Regenerative Medicine of Raynham, we use STORZ MEDICAL MASTERPULS technology as a non-invasive option within individualized treatment plans for selected tendon, muscle and other musculoskeletal problems.

What Is Shockwave Therapy?
Our STORZ MEDICAL MASTERPULS system uses radial pressure-wave technology delivered through a handheld applicator placed against the targeted area.
The system generates mechanical pressure waves that spread outward through the treatment area. STORZ describes MASTERPULS as radial shockwave/pressure-wave technology designed for musculoskeletal applications.
Treatment is non-surgical and does not involve injections or medication.
When Might We Consider Shockwave Therapy?
Depending on the patient's evaluation and clinical findings, Shockwave Therapy may be considered for selected problems involving:
- Plantar Fascia
- Achilles Tendon
- Patellar Tendon
- Tennis or Golfer's Elbow
- Shoulder Tendons
- Myofascial & Trigger-Point Problems
- Other Persistent Tendon & Soft-Tissue Problems
These applications are consistent with the musculoskeletal uses STORZ describes for its MASTERPULS radial technology, including plantar fascia, Achilles, patellar and elbow tendon problems, shoulder complaints and myofascial trigger points.
Whether Shockwave Therapy is appropriate depends on the diagnosis, location and duration of the problem, health history, previous care and individual goals.
