Low-Level Laser Therapy

Non-Invasive Light Therapy to Support Pain Relief & Recovery

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), sometimes called cold laser therapy or photobiomodulation, uses specific wavelengths of light applied to targeted areas of the body.

At Regenerative Medicine of Raynham, we primarily use MicroLight Smart Laser technology as a non-invasive adjunctive therapy within individualized treatment plans.

Serving Raynham, MA and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Laser therapy uses specific wavelengths of light applied to tissue in-office. At Regenerative Medicine of Raynham it is used as a non-invasive supportive option within an individualized plan, when the evaluation indicates it may be appropriate. Sessions are brief, require no needles or medication, and are typically combined with other care rather than used alone.

What Is Low-Level Laser Therapy?

Low-Level Laser Therapy delivers controlled light energy to targeted tissues without surgery, injections or medication.

The MicroLight system uses low-level laser technology and may be incorporated into a broader treatment plan based on the patient's evaluation, symptoms and goals.

Treatment is generally comfortable and requires no downtime.

When Might We Consider Laser Therapy?

Depending on the individual patient and clinical findings, Low-Level Laser Therapy may be considered as an adjunctive option for:

  • Joint & Musculoskeletal Pain
  • Tendon & Soft-Tissue Problems
  • Low Back and Neck Pain
  • Certain Nerve-Related Symptoms
  • Recovery Following Musculoskeletal Injury

An evaluation helps determine whether laser therapy — or another approach — is appropriate.

Our Approach

  1. 1

    Control Inflammation

  2. 2

    Support Recovery

  3. 3

    Restore Function

Laser therapy is one tool — not the entire treatment plan.

Depending on the patient's needs, it may be used alongside rehabilitation, mechanical therapies or other approaches intended to improve comfort, movement and function.

How we evaluate patients

Is Low-Level Laser Therapy Right for You?

Not every patient needs laser therapy.

The first step is understanding what may be contributing to your symptoms and determining which approach makes the most sense for you.

We don't begin with a treatment. We begin with an evaluation.
