Melissa Teixeira Palmer, DNP, NP-C is an AANP board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, dedicated to enhancing her patients' health, confidence, and overall well-being. Born and raised in Massachusetts to two inspiring Cape Verdean immigrant parents, Melissa grew up alongside her sister and two brothers, embracing a strong sense of family and community.

Melissa earned her second Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2015, followed by her Master’s in Nursing in 2018, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2021, also at UMASS Boston.

With over a decade of experience as a registered nurse in diverse healthcare settings, Melissa has cultivated a deep understanding of patient care. She now specializes in aesthetics, regenerative medicine, and health and wellness, continually refining her skills to deliver the best outcomes for her patients.

Office Manager

Amanda McAvoy is the dedicated and compassionate Medical Office Manager at our practice, serving as the welcoming first point of contact for our patients. With a resourceful and organized approach, Amanda oversees daily office operations to ensure seamless functionality and optimal productivity in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field, Amanda has held various roles, including Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) and Radiology Tech Aide, showcasing her versatility and commitment to patient care.

Amanda earned her Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate from Lincoln Technical Institute in Brockton, MA, and her Medical Assistant Certificate from Coastal Career Academy in Fall River, MA. She is also a proud member of the American Association of Medical Assistants, staying engaged with ongoing professional development in her field.

Amanda’s dedication to creating a welcoming and efficient environment reflects her passion for ensuring patients receive the highest level of care and support.

Tracy Hopkins

Licensed Phlebotomist

Tracy Marie Hopkins is a Certified Phlebotomy Technician with a deep passion for healthcare and over three decades of experience in the field. She earned her certification in 2016 from Health Care Training Services in Fall River, Massachusetts, and is a proud member of the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians. Tracy is also certified as an IV Technician, further expanding her expertise in patient care.

A Massachusetts native, Tracy is happily married to her supportive husband and is the proud mother of two wonderful children. Her commitment to healthcare began in 1986, and she has since gained extensive experience, including over 20 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She also held a license as a Massage Therapist Technician, demonstrating her diverse skills in promoting patient well-being.

Most recently, Tracy graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science, specializing as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Her lifelong dedication to helping others is evident in her multifaceted career, where she consistently strives to provide exceptional care and support to her patients.
