IV Therapy

Individualized IV Nutrient Support

IV therapy provides fluids and selected nutrients directly through intravenous administration.

At Regenerative Medicine of Raynham, IV therapy is not approached as a menu of treatments for patients to choose from based on a desired outcome. When appropriate, IV options are considered based on the individual's health history, clinical evaluation and goals.

Serving Raynham, MA and Southeastern Massachusetts.

IV therapy delivers fluids and selected nutrients intravenously. At Regenerative Medicine of Raynham it is not offered as a menu of drips to choose from. When appropriate, an IV option is considered based on your health history, clinical evaluation, medications and potential contraindications — and many patients do not need or are not appropriate candidates for it.

What Is IV Therapy?

IV therapy allows fluids and selected nutrients to be administered intravenously, bypassing the gastrointestinal tract.

The specific formulation, appropriateness and administration of an IV should be determined according to the individual patient and applicable clinical protocols.

Not every patient needs or is an appropriate candidate for IV therapy.

IV therapy is administered according to established clinical protocols with appropriate patient monitoring.

How we evaluate patients

Is IV Therapy Right for You?

IV therapy may be considered as a supportive option for selected patients, but it is not a substitute for appropriate medical diagnosis or treatment.

The first step is determining whether IV therapy is appropriate for your individual circumstances.

We don't begin with an IV. We begin with the patient.

Important Information

IV therapy involves intravenous administration and is not appropriate for every individual. Potential risks may include bruising, irritation, infection, allergic or adverse reactions, fluid or electrolyte disturbances, and other complications depending on the substances administered and the patient's health.

Individual results vary, and no particular clinical outcome can be guaranteed. IV therapy offered through this practice should not be interpreted as a treatment or cure for any disease unless specifically supported by an applicable FDA-approved indication and provided within the appropriate licensed practitioner's scope of practice.

Some preparations used in clinical practice may be compounded medications. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed.
